How Do IT Infrastructure Components Work?
Facilities: Facilities or physical plants house networking devices, servers, and data centres. It also includes network cabling that connects IT system components in office buildings.
Network: A network is made up of switches, routers, hubs, and servers. Switches are used in local area networks (LANs) to connect network devices such as routers, servers, and other switches. Server: A server is an essential piece of hardware for any company’s information technology infrastructure. Servers are machines that allow multiple users to share and access resources.
The Data Center/Server Room: Server rooms, also known as data centres, house an organization’s various servers. The majority of networks are built around data centres.
